DETROIT (WWJ) - One person is hospitalized after he was injured in a shooting outside of a strip club on Detroit’s west side just after last call.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the Jaguar Gentlemen’s Club on Joy Road, just west of Greenfield Road.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot multiple times while sitting in his car outside of the club. He told police a black male in a Cadillac pulled up next to his vehicle and started firing before driving away.

The man was rushed to Sinai Grace Hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his stomach, left wrist and left foot.

The gunman remains on the loose. A detailed description was not immediately released.
