Road Could Be Closed For Hours After Train, Van Collision

WIXOM (WWJ) - Police are investigating a serious accident involving a train and a van in Oakland County.

The accident happened just before 10 a.m. Saturday on West Road, just east of Beck Road in Wixom.

Officials with the Michigan Department of Transportation confirmed the accident, but weren't able to immediately provide additional details.

It wasn't clear how badly anyone was injured.

West Road is closed in both directions while police investigate.
