Nik Stauskas On Pistons Drafting Him: 'I'd Be Cool With It'

As former Michigan basketball player Nik Stauskas gets ready for the NBA draft, where he's expected to be a lottery pick, he stopped at Comerica Park on Monday night to throw out the first pitch at the Tigers-Astros game.

Stauskas tossed a sure strike that hit at least 100MPH on the radar gun. Ok, I'm kidding, it was a strike, just maybe not that fast.

After the pitch, Stauskas answered some questions.

Were you a baseball fan growing up?

Have you helped change Michigan basketball for the better?

Have you gotten over the Kentucky game?

What if the Pistons drafted you?

"I would be cool with it" Stauskas said about the Pistons potentially drafting him. "It would be a lot of fun being in Detroit and obviously I would have a pretty big fan base with all the Michigan fans around. I'd definitely enjoy that."

Stauskas was also asked about if the Raptors draft him considering he is from Toronto and he was a fan growing up.

"That would be a lot of fun, I feel like my brother (Peter) would be more excited than I would, he has season tickets for the Raptors" Stauskas said.

I'm willing to bet that neither team gets him, although I'm all for him donning a Pistons jersey next season.

What about you?
