Want A Piece Of Tigers Baseball History? Check Out Tigers Authentics

By: Jeff Riger

Tigers fans might have no idea that they can take home game-used bats, balls, bases and jerseys from the night of the game they attend.

The Tigers have a unique shop in the ballpark called Detroit Tigers Authentics where fans can purchase memorabilia minutes after it’s used. Director Marc Himelstein runs the kiosk located in the concourse down the third base line and was kind enough to tell us about his store and the memorabilia available.

The prices are affordable, the merchandise is second to none and everything in the store is authentic.

From cufflinks made from old Tiger Stadium seats to the actual dirt that Miguel Cabrera clinched the Triple Crown on, Detroit Authentics has it all.

Check out the video to see some of their cooler, more unique authentics and then give Marc and his staff a visit next time you visit the park or visit them on the web at Tigers.com/authentics

Oh, one more cool thing that you might not know…

A portion of every purchase goes to Detroit Tigers charities.
