Marshall Henderson Tweets Complaint About Sam Coverage, Gets Blowback

Marshall Henderson, a white guy playing high-level basketball, is a guard for the Ole Miss basketball team. He's a pretty polarizing guy, in my opinion, and known for taunting people.

In this particular case, the taunting wasn't well received by the Twitter audience.

Over the weekend, Michael Sam was the first openly gay athlete to be drafted into professional sports. ESPN aired coverage of Sam kissing his boyfriend after he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round.

Let's just say, Henderson wasn't too fond of ESPN showing this coverage over and over, and he Tweeted his thoughts.

WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE NSFW in the Tweets

That obviously incited direct hits from his Twitter audience. So, Henderson sent out something a little softer.

And he was attacked all over again.

Is Henderson out of line for these tweets?

Henderson is the same guy who hit a shot against Florida in Florida, and started doing the famous "gator" chomp to the Florida fans.
