Ah, the good ‘ol bat flip. In my opinion it’s the best way to show up a pitcher. You crank a home run, stare down the pitcher and flip your bat.

My favorite one from memory is from when Carlos Guillen hit a home run off Jared Weaver from the L.A. Angels.

Yangervis Solarte is an infielder for the New York Yankees and has made his major league debut this season after spending the last eight season in the minor leagues.

Solarte, 26, from Venezuela is unique with the way he takes his walks… he decides to do a bat flip? Kind of showing up the pitcher in my opinion.

Here are some of the better bat flips throughout the years in MLB.

Carlos Gomez of the Milwaukee Brewers is also famously known for his bat flips, which seem to cause the benches to clear.
