Pat White, a former West Virginia recruit, is accusing of Alabama of offering him a Corvette when he was being recruited.

This comes on the heels of current Alabama RB Derrick Henry posing in front of his brand new Dodge Challenger.

Current head coach for Alabama, Nick Saban, was actually asked about the situation. Saban became the coach of Alabama in 2007; Pat White was a freshman at West Virginia in 2005, so Saban wasn’t even at Alabama when White was recruited.

Good for the PR person to point out to the reporter that Saban was in fact not at Alabama — but Saban’s response was great.
