Women's Health: Time To Get Those Potentially Embarrassing Questions Answered

DEARBORN (WWJ) - Ladies, here's your chance to get your most pressing health questions answered at a special health fair in Dearborn.

In celebration of Women's Health Month, a variety of specialists from Oakwood hospital are hosting a special Women's Health Event from nine to noon reports Newsradio 950's Sean Lee has the story.

One of them is Doctor Salil Khandwala, an expert in the field of urogynecology.

Doctor Khandwala says issues like urinary incontinence affect as many as one in three women ages 20 to 60, but many are still embarrassed to bring it up, even with their doctors.

The Women's Health Event happens Saturday morning at the Oakwood Wellness Center in Dearborn, and includes free screenings and fitness classes.
