Lightning Light Show, Scattered Showers Throughout Metro Detroit

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) – A quiet neighborhood in Royal Oak was rocked with the sounds of a lightning strike Tuesday night.

Royal Oak Police say it happened around 9:45 last night when lightning hit a house on Longfellow, near Lincoln.

Police say there was no serious damage and no one was injured.

Scattered showers hit the area but left very little damage or power outages.
