Stop me if you have heard this one before -- People in Detroit aren't fit. Yup, another story came out from Men's Health magazine and it listed the 100 of the nation's largest cities in every area of life.

I have lived here my entire life and plan on living here my entire life. Detroiters aren't exactly walking models but we know hard work and good food. How can people in the home of the coney dog be ripped?

I don't care if I'm a little round, and I enjoy eating any and everything I want. I could sit at a gym all day long and get ripped and score chicks that are an 8? Eh, I'll stick with my fives and sixes!

Below is Men's Health reasoning for the list. Yes Detroit, we're #99 and let's be proud of it!

Each month, Men's Health ranks 100 of the nation's largest cities in every area of life, especially those that impact everyone's health and well being, providing a powerful statistical snapshot of urban America. In the June issue, Men's Health looks at the most muscular cities and finds that more buff bodies can be found in Denver, Colorado than anywhere else.

To determine the rankings, Men's Health looked at the number of gyms, trainers, and C.S.C.S.'s per capita (SimplyMap, Bureau of Labor Statistics, National Strength and Conditioning Association); percentage of households with people who lift weights and buy "high protein" food (SimplyMap); and percentage of people who do muscle-strengthening exercises twice a week (CDC): For more information visit MensHealth.com/metrogrades.
