It’s not everyday that the best player in MLB makes a kid’s dream come true and that’s exactly what Miguel Cabrera did yesterday as part of the “kids take the field” promotion at Comerica Park.

Young Alvin is featured in the video, produced by MLB.com, and it seems he took advantage of the situation. Alvin was able to photo bomb some lovely ladies and also was able to run onto the field, get introduced and even head over to first base.

When Alvin arrived at first, the team was about take the field — and that’s when Miggy went all Miggy and made Alvin’s day. Miggy walked to first and Alvin asked, “Hey, can I play first base today?” Miggy responded by giving Alvin his mitt and had him play catch with Ian Kinsler.

I will be the first one to say I am jealous of Alvin.
