Russian Cops Ban Short Skirts For Female Officers [PHOTO]

I may need to move to Russia. Actually I might be a little late for the reason why I would like to move there. Their female police officers wear skirts - no big deal, right? Well, when the length of the skirts makes it appear the officers are going out clubbing rather than fighting crime, it becomes a problem.

According to the Huffington Post:

The Moscow Times reports that the ban was imposed to counteract a growing trend of rising hemlines among female officers, as well as a tendency of male officers to cut off their shirt sleeves. Department heads are encouraged to inspect uniforms daily to make sure they're appropriate.

I just noticed that not only are these skirts much too short but the officers are wearing heels, too. I bet they get outrun quite often.
