Officials: Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Bike
WATERFORD TWP. (WWJ) - Authorities say a 23-year-old man has died after crashing his motorcycle in Oakland County.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday near Airport and Pontiac Lake roads in Waterford Township.
The man was riding down Airport Road when he apparently hit an object in the roadway, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, authorities said. No one else was injured.
The man was taken to McLaren Hospital where he later died. His identity was not immediately released.
The accident remains under investigation.
