DETROIT (WWJ) – Two Detroit men will be in 36th District Court Monday for a preliminary exam.

WWJ’s Beth Fisher reports the men allegedly beat a motorist after an accident involving all three men.

Toriano Williams and Demond Williams are charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm and aggravated assault for allegedly beating and kicking motorist Nathaniel Szczerbinski, 34 of Grosse Pointe Park.

Szczerbinski had allegedly driven his car in the wrong direction at Vernor and Chalmers road in Detroit when he was involved in a car accident with the vehicle driven by Demond Williams.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
