Pat Caputo: 3 Most Underrated Players On The Detroit Lions

By: Pat Caputo

1. DeAndre Levy, linebacker – It was a travesty Levy didn’t make the Pro Bowl in 2013. He has a lot of speed, is a solid tackler and very good in pass defense. He made a ton of big plays last season. Expect more in 2014.

2. Riley Reiff, offensive tackle – Rookie guard Larry Warford got a lot of recognition, and justifiably so. Yet, Reiff’s emergence at left tackle was huge factor as the Lions’ offensive line came together in ’13. Expect Reiff to be even better this season.

3. Ziggy Ansah, defensive end – He was good as a rookie, but look for Ansah to develop into one of the NFL’s top sack specialists in 2014.
