Public Invited To Tour New U-M Northville Health Center

NORTHVILLE (WWJ) - The University of Michigan has cut the ribbon on a brand-new specialty care center in metro Detroit.

The 100,000 square foot facility at 7 Mile Road and Haggerty in Northville isn't too far from U of M's Livonia Center.

Of course it has all the high-tech, cutting edge equipment you'd expect, but the center's medical director, Dr. Audrey Fan says, more importantly, it features dozens of specialist you won't have to drive to Ann Arbor to see.

"I think we're just very, very excited to be able to bring the top quality care that University of Michigan is known for, with many specialties all under one roof — which is innovative — and bring that to the community so that it's closer and more convenient for our patients," Fan said.

Patient appointments at the center begin July 15.

To get a look inside without an appointment, there's an open house, Sunday, Aug. 10.
