Help Sought To Find 19-Year-Old Detroit Man Wanted For Murder

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are calling on the public for help to find an alleged killer.

Dashean Keith Williams, 19, is wanted on first degree murder and "several other felony charges" in the death of another man in Detroit last month.

Police say Richard Scarborough was fatally shot shortly after 11 p.m. on Monday, June 23 in the area of Kitchener and Frued,

Williams, who is wanted in connection with the killing, is described as a black male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and around 165 lbs. He has black hair, is clean-shaven, and also goes by the name "Day-Day."

Anyone who has information regarding Williams' whereabouts is urged to call Officer Mason at Detroit Police Homicide at 313-596-6858 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1-800-SPEAK UP.  If you think you see Williams, do not attempt to apprehend him yourself, but instead call Detroit police or 911.
