BRAMPTON TOWNSHIP (AP) — Authorities in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula say they are investigating the drowning of a 48-year-old man who had been kayaking with a friend.

Michigan State Police troopers say the Delta County man drowned Friday on Little Bay De Noc in Brampton Township after he was reported missing.

The search involved local, state and federal authorities.
