Sheriff Goodell Not So Tough On Domestic Violence [BLOG]

By: Mike Stone

The NFL has suspended Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice two games for allegedly striking his wife in an Atlantic City hotel. Rice will miss the Ravens games with divisional rivals Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.

So let me get this straight. The NFL this week has suspended Eagles lineman Lane Johnson four games for the use of performance enhancing drugs. Other players have been sat down four games for smoking pot. Yet, Ray Rice gets two games for allegedly beating the crap out of his wife. While I realize substance violation discipline is part of the CBA, Roger Goodell needs to wake the bleep up. In my opinion punching out a woman is much worse than violating the league's substance policy.

Come on Roger, you claim to be Commissioner Law and Order and you come up with this. Give me a bleeping break.
