EAST LANSING (97.1 THE TICKET) -- Michigan State forward Kenny Kaminski announced on Twitter Saturday that he plans to transfer from the Spartans basketball program.
The redshirt sophomore averaged 4.9 points and 1.5 rebounds last season, while shooting 49.4 percent from the 3-point line. Kaminski scored nine points in four games for the Spartans in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.
The loss of Kaminski leaves coach Tom Izzo with one less option, as he is now the fifth player lost from last season's team, joining seniors Keith Appling, Adreian Payne, Dan Champman and sophomore Gary Harris.
