Steve Byrne Promoting Comedy Tour Admits To Hating And Respecting The Red Wings

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Ahmed Ahmed, Owen Benjamin, Roy Wood Jr., and Steve Byrne are on the "Sullivan and Son" comedy tour scheduled for a stop in Royal Oak.

Byrne stopped by the WWJ studio to promote the tour and we asked him why people should come out to the show.

"Because it's a show that you can afford." he said.

He describes the value saying most comedy shows include a rookie, an up and comer and, "the guy that you paid to see."

"This show it's literally four headliners," he said. At the end of the show the guys work the crowd and do improvisation.

Byrne who lived in Chicago for a while showed his Blackhawks hockey allegiance, "I respect the Red Wings, I don't like them." "I love the rivalry, he added.

For one night only Tuesday, August 5, the show starts at 8 p.m. at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle. Tickets are $20.
