(97.1 The Ticket) — After some speculation, the Michigan Football program and Adidas announced on Facebook a new “Go Blue” TECHFIT alternate uniform that the Wolverines will don in the 2014 campaign.

The new look was leaked through the official MDen catalog earlier on Friday on Twitter. The new look will debut on October 11 when the Wolverines host Penn State for “Under The Lights III.”

According to a press release, Michigan will wear its traditional home and road uniforms during the rest of the season and a decision about Bowl Game uniforms would be discussed later.

This is the fifth time that Michigan and adidas have collaborated on an alternate uniform — 2011 Under the Lights game with Notre Dame, 2011 game at Michigan State, 2012 vs. Alabama and 2013 Outback Bowl vs. South Carolina.
