Jarrod Dyson Back Flips After Kansas City Takes Over The Central [VIDEO]

There's definitely a reason to celebrate in Kansas City right now. The Royals have won eight straight games and currently sit atop the AL Central in first place. This is the first time since August 29, 2003 that Kansas City leads the division this late in the season.

Simply put, the Royals have taken over and owned the AL Central the past few weeks. They've won 16 of their last 19 games and currently hold a half game lead over the Tigers.

Detroit, on the other hand, isn't used to being in second place. They haven't been in second place in the AL Central since June 19. To put it into perspective, this season and last season combined, the Tigers have played 253 of their 278 games in first place.

It's a weird time for Tigers baseball. The offense has been very sluggish since the All-Star break, they've lost 5 of the last 6 games, and the starting rotation is all out of sorts.

Obviously, Tigers fans never want to see the Royals celebrating, but they're playing some great baseball right now and having a lot of fun doing so. Royals outfielder Jarrod Dyson decided to express his enthusiasm after catching the game winning fly ball last night against the Oakland A's.

He did a backflip on the field. It's actually pretty impressive. Check out the video:

Do you think Kansas City will find a way to maintain consistency and win the AL Central? Or will the Tigers end their slump soon and get back on the right track?
