NOVI (WWJ) - A 30-year-old man who was facing indecent exposure charges in Livingston County has racked up four similar charges in Oakland County.

Nathanael Armstrong, of Green Oak Township, was arraigned last Friday in 52-1 District Court on three counts of aggravated indecent exposure and one count of indecent exposure.

According to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office, the charges stem from three separate incidents that took place in the area of Pontiac Trail and 9 Mile Road in South Lyon, between April 15 and June 25; and one incident that occurred at a Target store in Novi on July 14.

In the South Lyon incidents, police allege that Armstrong was inside his vehicle, a Dodge Dart, masturbating in full view of teenagers who were passing by. In the Novi case, Armstrong allegedly flashed a female shopper.

In addition to these charges, Armstrong was recently charged by the Livingston County Prosecutor's Office with two counts of indecent exposure for incidents that occurred earlier this year at two stores at a shopping plaza in Brighton. Those offenses went unreported to police until Armstrong was publicly identified as the suspect in the South Lyon incidents, according to investigators.

Each count of aggravated indecent exposure is a two-year misdemeanor, while the simple indecent exposure charge is a one-year misdemeanor.

Armstrong, who was released on a $10,000 personal bond, is due back in court for a pre-exam conference on Aug. 20.
