$1,000 Reward Offered For Tips In Vandalism, Theft Spree

FENTON (WWJ) - Police and Crime Stopper of Michigan are hoping the public can help them to catch whomever is responsible for a recent crime spree in the Fenton area.

According to Crime Stoppers, someone has been vandalizing and stealing from properties in Fenton; with incidents occurring near and south of Ellen Street and as far north as South Long Lake Road.

Authorities believe the suspects are juveniles, although it's not clear how many people may have been involved in these crimes.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being for to the tipster who comes forward with information leading to an arrest in the case.

Anyone who has any information about this crime is asked to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers in one of three ways:  call 1-800-SPEAK UP (1-800-773-2587); visit www.1800SPEAKUP.org to submit online; or text"CSM" and the tip information to CRIMES  (274637).

As always, tipsters to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous. There is no caller ID, and callers will not be required to testify in court.
