The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer this week interviewed noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews on the subject of selective sports.

Andrews speaks to the problem of children being encouraged to concentrate on only one sport and essentially stressing their muscles, joints and bones along the way.

Often leading these same kids to surgeons like Andrews for repair and replacement parts (of their body).

Are you a one sport jock? Did your parents encourage you to focus your energy on one sport during high school or even grade school?
