Tigers 1B Cabrera Leaves In 4th Inning

CHICAGO (AP) — Miguel Cabrera has left Detroit’s game against the Chicago White Sox in the fourth inning after struggling to run out an infield grounder.

Cabrera, playing in the second game of Saturday’s day-night doubleheader, pulled up lame after being thrown out at first. He was replaced in the bottom half of the inning.

Cabrera was 1 for 7 on the day with four strikeouts as his batting average dipped below .300.
