Big Brother Season 16 Episode 32 Recap: Another Double Eviction & Twist Revealed

Our Ubly, Michigander Nicole was sent packing yet again. However she wasn't the only houseguest leaving as last night's episode featured a double eviction where we saw Nicole's frenemy Christine the 23-year-old Shift Supervisor/Barista from Tucson, AZ get voted out of the house and received a surprising heckle from the live audience. Unfortunately as much as last night's episode was exciting it was way too predictable and nobody really made a big game move. However next week is shaping up to be an interesting week for the remaining five houseguests in the house. A new twist has been revealed to us, another Team America mission has been announced and Big Brother Veterans are coming back with an announcement. Let me recap last night's episode and break it down.

Déjà Vu For Nicole

In absolutely no surprise Nicole was sent packing again to the jury house. The boys are clearly running this game and there was no chance that Nicole could convince them that she would be a better asset to stay over Victoria, the residential floater of the season. So in an underwhelming unanimous vote, she was off to see Julie and back into the jury house. I look forward to the upcoming weeks and seeing a visit to the jury house, especially seeing the reaction of Donny being voted out. I also wonder if we'll see more sparks fly when Nicole returns and is reunited with Hayden. Sadly as Nicole had stated, she couldn't get her head back in the game and ultimately cost her second shot at the $500K prize.

Christine Sent To Jury House

I was really surprised how quickly the HOH competition for the double eviction was. I guess when the pressure is on, Derrick clearly knew the correct answer and the other houseguests were left in the dust. It was an easy win for Derrick and a crucial time for him to win because he could have easily have been the pawn/target for the Fast Forward if Christine had one the competition. But the predictability continued as Christine and Victoria were put on the block. The reason being it's what the "house" wanted, when the house is majority male and none of the males wanted to be put on the block.

With a possibility of a backdoor, Frankie knew he needed to secure himself and win the POV. The competition was simple; get your ball through a maze and out of the three mazes the quickest. It looked to be a tight race at the start with Frankie and Christine. However in the end Frankie was quick and secured his safety from the double eviction. Sadly for Christine, her time was up in the Big Brother house and she stormed off without saying goodbye. Bitter much, Christine? She even told Julie she saw this coming, but you would think you would leave with some pride. What was surprising though was when she stepped out to meet Julie the audience heckled and booed her out. I guess people didn't like her game play, mainly the flirtmance with Cody when she's obviously married, or people just flat out didn't like her. Honestly I don't think she deserved it, but I guess there are some fans out there that see it differently.

My Ranking Of The Houseguests

  1. Derrick - With his win as HOH during the live eviction, continued his power and influence in the house. However with the new twist, he will have to play his cards right to ensure his next target is out of the house before him.
  2. Frankie - Clearly showing his dominance in the POV competition, his social game with the boys is spot on but also he knew if he didn't save himself he had the possibility of being sent packing. With this new twist it may affect his game and could see Julie next week.
  3. Caleb - The obvious next target but will Beast Mode Cowboy hit the Big Brother Rewind Button? As the rolling credits were on, he was predicting it was a pandora's box type twist and he's slightly correct. But we'll just have to wait and see if Caleb can survive this week.
  4. Cody - Derrick's puppet and the residential dinosaur for the week. I would like to see Cody make a big move and not be in the shadows of the other three guys.
  5. Victoria - Apparently she's next to go in the boys eyes, but if she's still close with Derrick, he will make sure she says over whoever is up on the block next to her. If she was smart she'd press the button, but our residential floater seems to be sailing her way to the finale, just like may floaters before her from seasons past.

My Prediction for HOH, Nominations & BB Rewind

I predict another endurance comp and it will be a battle between Caleb and Frankie. However I feel as though Frankie will triumph over the Beast Mode Cowboy to win HOH. With that in mind Caleb will then be nominated along side Victoria. With Julie's announcement of a twist called, "Big Brother Rewind," if any of the houseguests decide to press the button, during next week's live eviction (on a new night!) the game will reset from that week and it will be a "Fast Forward," week style game, where the two nominees have a chance at being HOH and the reigning HOH for the week has the possibility of being evicted. I fully expect the button to be pressed by Caleb. Especially after his comment of what it could possibly be, this cowboy seems to be gullible and want to press the button. However if Derrick or Frankie have their way they'll see to it that no one will press it or in a possible surprise press it themselves even after telling the other houseguests not too.

Tune in on Sunday at 8pm to see who will win HOH, which to houseguests the new HOH will nominate for eviction and the return of Big Brother veterans Jeff Schroeder & winner of season 12 Jordan Lloyd for an announcement. I wonder what announcement will be. Also with Thursday Night Football, the Big Brother schedule changes. So the episodes will be on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8pm for the rest of the season. Finale is fast approaching and hopefully with this new twist, this season being dubbed as "the most twisted season yet," will truly be twisted and surprising. For many fans it's looking to be a dud and way to predictable because of how much of a dominance the Bombonators have run the house as well as no competition for Derrick. But the show can't please everyone and it continues to bring viewers as well as be talked about, so they must be doing something right. However it has yet to be announced if there will be another season. Let's hope there is so we can have another Michigander or two compete for a chance at the title and prize.
