CBS DETROIT - The Detroit Lions have released wide receiver Kevin Ogletree, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

The move corresponds with a promotion for practice squad cornerback Mohammed Seisay, who has been expected to jump up to the 53-man roster since the Lions have lost two cornerbacks to injury - Bill Bentley and Nevin Lawson - in the first two games of the season. The Lions will also be without cornerback Cassius Vaughn, at least for Sunday's NFC North matchup against Green Bay. Vaughn did not practice Thursday or Friday because of an ankle injury.

In 12 games with the Lions in 2013, Ogletree caught 13 passes for 199 yards. A six-year veteran, Ogletree was not active for either of the team's first two games this season.
