With The Henry Ford museum's expansive collection serving as a backdrop, CBS Sunday Morning correspondent Mo Rocca hosts a national TV series telling the stories behind past and present inventions as well as people working on what's next in the world of science and technology.

"It has always been our vision at The Henry Ford to become a national force for fueling the spirit of American innovation and inspire those inventors, innovators and makers of tomorrow," said Patricia Mooradian, President of The Henry Ford. "With 'The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation' and our partnership with CBS and Litton Entertainment, we will now be able to share the stories of perseverance, passion and ingenuity that we tell on our campus every day to audiences across the country."

Each episode features several stories such as "Medical MacGyver" where an inventive medical professional is creating health devices from children's play toys. Also, how a shopping centers acquires smart carts and creating light from soda bottles.

"The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation" is part of CBS' educational block "The CBS Dream Team, It's Epic!" It airs Saturday mornings on CBS. It can be seen locally on CBS 62 at 8 a.m.
