Larry Donnell Loses In Fantasy Football Because He Benched Himself

One of the best parts about working in the sports field is you usually see something new everyday. But as of Thursday afternoon, I don't believe I can see anything new because I have now seen it all.

Tight end Larry Donnell of the New York Giants had quite the week, in terms of NFL stats as well as fantasy points. In the Valenti and Foster fantasy football league, Donnell put up 26.9 points while scoring 3 touchdowns on 7 receptions for 54 yards.

But here is the best part about all of that! Donnell lost his week in fantasy because he didn't start himself. Donnell, instead, started 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, who finished the week with two catches for eight yards.

According to True Blue, Donnell's team consists of Drew Brees, Frank Fore, Anquan Boldin, as well as Mike Wallace. Donnell said he lost by 15 points and since Davis virtually gave him no points he would have been a lock for himself to get the win.

My only question is: Doesn't Donnell know the game plan and understand if he should get touches or not?
