1. The worst concerns about the Tigers' bullpen were realized. It imploded. Anybody still think Joakim Soria should be closing instead of Joe Nathan?

2. Five earned runs in 7 1-3 innings wasn't good enough. Simply put Tigers' starter Max Scherzer didn't get it done.

3. Andrew Romine is essentially a Triple-A shortstop playing in MLB's postseason. It's not a good situation for the Tigers. His key error was not a surprise.
