Delusional Michigan Tailgater Gives Pregame Speech As If He's On The Team [VIDEO]

Dear Mr. Michigan fan,

You might just want to pump the breaks a little bit. Your team is 3-4; and yes, they technically still have a shot to win the Big Ten so you can still hang your hat on that, but this video is over the top.

At the Penn State vs. Michigan football tailgate one fan took things a little too far.

First off, this guy does know that he isn't the coach of Michigan nor is he talking to actual players on the team, correct? Instead he is talking to roughly 10-15 50-something year-old Michigan fans. If you notice the guys who aren't laughing at (who I assume is presumably their friend) are all the over 50 crowd, each sporting a college athlete's  jersey. Also make notice of the guy having his face painted... (Is that still only for kids, though?).

Now, this speech really did seem rehearsed. The guy makes some great comments, such as:

"Things are a lot tougher now, we get everyone's best shot. Everyone wants to take us down, we've got to stick together, we've gotta play relentless, we've gotta play with passion, and you've gotta play with your brother next to you."

"If you do that today, I guarantee you, at the end of this night, Penn State will know we're Michigan."

Then begins the chant, "It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine."

Now there are a few funny things I took away from this.... He talks as if this is the first time Michigan has ever played football. He also mentions that Penn State "will know [they] are Michigan"... Who did he think Penn State would think they were playing — Delaware?

So, was this somewhat tongue-in-cheek, or is this guy for real? Either way, I really enjoyed watching the passion he spewed as he rallied his friends.
