Second Annual Detroit Party To Benefit The Detroit Creativity Project

For one-night on November 1, a group of talented performers with Detroit connections and their famous friends will reunite at the Largo in Los Angeles for the 2nd Annual Detroit Party hosted by Michigan native and star of Key & Peele, Keegan-Michael Key.

The performers will celebrate and benefit the city where they got their start – Detroit.

Produced by Laugh on Behalf, proceeds from the 2nd Annual Detroit Party benefit The Detroit Creativity Project, an organization dedicated to giving back to Detroit by helping to preserve arts education in area schools.

For those who love Detroit, comedy, music and more, the event features a collection of some of the performances from the original variety show's line-up features, including:

• Keegan-Michael Key – co-creator and star of Comedy Central's Award-winning "Key & Peele"
• Marc Evan Jackson – founder of the Detroit Creativity Project, and Sparks Nevada in the "Thrilling Adventure Hour." Jackson's other credits include "Kings of Summer," "22 Jump Street," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Parks & Recreation" and more
• Paget Brewster – actress and star of "The Thrilling Adventure Hour," "Criminal Minds" & more
• Thomas Middleditch – star of HBO's "Silicon Valley" and more
• Kumail Nanjiani – star of HBO's "Silicon Valley," "Portlandia" and more
• Musical guest: Martin Starr performing w/ Jackie Tohn and Common Rotation's Eric Kufs, Jordan Katz
• Sara Watkins of The Watkins Family Hour and Nickel Creek – performs with Benmont Tench, of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
• Allee Willis – Detroit native, Grammy-Award winning and Emmy and Tony nominated artist

Anyone who downloads the podcast can also donate to The Detroit Creativity Project (DCP).
