Devon Still Wins The Heart Of America

By: Sara

The Cincinnati Bengals may not have won their game on Thursday night against the Browns, but they succeeded in winning the hearts of America with all of the sweet things they have done for defensive tackle Devon Still's daughter Leah. Little Leah was diagnosed over the summer with neuroblastoma and has been battling the rare type of childhood cancer ever since. In order to help Devon and Leah, not only have the Bengals kept Still employed, they have also been donating the proceeds from his jersey sales this season to the Cincinnati Children's Medical Center.

The jersey has generated $1.25 million for the hospital so far and is the 11th best selling in the league. Not only did Leah help present the check before kickoff, she also got to hang out as an honorary cheerleader, and watch the game from a suite. The crowd loved Leah and gave her a standing ovation, and her proud papa wore the words "Leah strong" across his eye black.
