Are Kyrie Irving And Kevin Love Pretending To Smoke A Joint With Handshake Celebration? [VIDEO]

One day, I believe professional athletes will become aware they are constantly being filmed.

Two guys who should be aware more so than the rest are Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers. They teamed up with LeBron James and all eyes are on Cleveland whether it's good or bad.

The Cavs topped the Pelicans on Monday night and Irving and Love have quite the handshake.

They slap hands a few times and at the very end of the handshake they both bring their hands to their mouths as if they were smoking something. For anyone who has ever seen a movie that involves pot smoking, you know how people hold it.

These players have to be smarter than this. Whether it is or isn't how it appears, they should have thought this one through.

Per ESPN.com the Cleveland Cavaliers have issued a statement:

"All, we hate to (and don't want to) call any further attention to this, but need to make sure you all know the truth about it. Some of you might have seen the (mostly) blog site attention to Kyrie and Kevin's post game handshake. To clarify, they are quickly sharpening the end of an imaginary mustache at the end of their exchange with each other. It has nothing to do with smoking a joint as some blogs (and even some mainstream folks now) are suggesting/reporting."
