Four Suspects In Custody After Armed Robbery, Shooting At Police
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are investigating the armed robbery of two people near Grand River and 7 Mile Rd. which took place on Wednesday.
Sgt. Eren Stephens told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the incident started around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday evening when four suspects attempted to rob two people.
Police chased the suspects into Redford, when the suspects shot at police. Stephens said that Detroit Police did not return gunfire and that no one was hurt.
Police have since apprehended all four suspects, who are in custody. Michigan State Police are also assisting.
