Report: Jaguars CB Dwayne Gratz Cited For Disorderly Intoxication, Trespassing; Tried Paying With Gum

It must be tough to play in the NFL — making the big bucks with all the fanfare in the national spotlight.

For some it just isn't good enough.

Earlier this season Cowboys' RB Joseph Randle was allegedly arrested for stealing cologne, and it's looking like other players aren't learning from others' mistakes.

Jacksonville Jaguars CB Dwayne Gratz this past weekend ran into a little trouble in Miami where he was cited for two misdemeanors: disorderly intoxication and trespassing.

That in itself doesn't sound all too unusual, until upon further reading you find out that, according to Jaguars' beat reporter Ryan O'Halloran, Gratz's trouble began when he tried to pay for items with bubble gum.

I realize that the charges imply he allegedly drunk at the time, but it's still a bit bizarre to me.

According to jacksonville.com:

Gratz was the only player not present for today's workout and without citing the specifics, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said it was "an unfortunate situation."
