By Edward Cardenas

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - At least two major retailers are offering pre-Black Friday sales online for shoppers seeking deals.

Amazon and Walmart began posting deals Friday on a variety of electronics, toys and appliances.

"The retail environment is incredibly competitive and we know that our customers are looking to us for the lowest prices and great deals all season long," said Duncan Mac Naughton, chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S., in a release. "That's why we've more than doubled the amount of items included in our Pre-Black Friday Event."

Deals at Walmart include the "Frozen" sing-along edition DVD for $14.96, a Keurig K40 Single Serve Coffeemaker for $99 and $399 for a PlayStation 4 with a $50 gift card. The deals last until Nov. 27

Amazon is also offering early sales starting Friday, with new items being added every 10 minutes for eight days.

"Our customers are redefining Black Friday shopping. They want to stay home with family, enjoy some turkey and football and shop the hottest deals from their phone, tablet or PC," said Steve Shure, Amazon Vice President Worldwide Marketing, in a release. "Starting November 21, we will add new deals as often as every 10 minutes, for eight days, including tech, toys, tools and more."

Some of the deals the online retailer are offering include: a 32-inch LED TV for $79,  Lincoln Logs Redwood Junction for $40 and 50 percent off "Diary of a Wimpy Kid Box of Books 1-8."
