Smart Phone Apps To Help Black Friday Shopping

By Edward Cardenas

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Shoppers heading out on Black Friday to find deals can utilize their smart phone and apps to help manage their retail excursion.

Website Medium.com provided some helpful tips and tricks for shoppers:

  • Use the Mint app to plan a budget before heading out shopping. The app allows shoppers to set up spending limits amount for each category, and will help users know how much you need to save each week or month after the holidays to get back on track.
  • The Wunderlist app allows users to create a list before Black Friday of places to shop, and items on a gift list, on a smart phone.
  • Store loyalty cards can be stored in one place with the Stocard app. The app allows users to unclutter their wallet and keys chains, and just show their digital cars instead. The article added that the app also shows catalogs and coupons for Black Friday.
  • Shoppers who exceed their budget can call the proverbial friend. The Venmo app allows friends and family to send money instantly, and finish shopping.

The apps suggested by Medium are free, and available for the iPhone and Android.
