Michigan State Police Need Your Help To 'Stuff A Blue Goose' This Christmas

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Michigan State Police want to see you up close -- to shake you down. But it's all for a good cause.

Troopers state-wide are supporting the Toys for Tots program this season by holding toy drives leading up to Christmas. In true MSP style, the campaign is called "Stuff a Blue Goose" -- named after their patrol car.

Residents are encouraged to stop by one of the locations to stuff a patrol car full of new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items. The toys and all other donations will be distributed to families in the surrounding area.

The "blue goose" be at the following locations through December:

-- Saturday, Dec. 6 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bass Pro Shop at Great Lakes Crossing, 4500 Baldwin Rd., Auburn Hills

-- Saturday, Dec. 13 -- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Walmart, 7000 E Michigan Ave., Saline

-- Saturday, Dec. 13 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Walmart, 2001 W Maple Rd., Troy

-- Sunday, Dec. 14 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Walmart, 2001 W Maple Rd., Troy

-- Saturday, Dec. 20 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Walmart, 2001 W Maple Rd., Troy

-- Sunday, Dec. 21 -- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
