Armed Bank Robber At Large In Ypsilanti Area [PHOTOS]

YPSILANTI TWP. (WWJ) - Authorities are looking for the public's help to identify a robber caught on camera in Ypsilanti Township.

It happened at the Fifth Third Bank in the 1900 block of Whitaker at 9:20 a.m. on Monday.

The hooded suspect walked up to a teller, flashed a gun, and demanded money. He then fled on foot towards a nearby Kroger.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a zip up jacket with hood and a white material covering his face.

No one was injured in the incident.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's department isn't saying how much money he got away with.

An investigation continues.
