CBS Detroit
Sometimes it takes a village to make the world a better place.
In this case, two women running organizations in Detroit are making inroads globally and making a difference.
Marian Reich, who runs the International Visitors Council of Detroit, talked about her organization and its role in indoctrinating people about the Motor City during taping of "Michigan Matters."
Then, Alison Vaughn, founder of Jackets For Jobs, talked with host Carol Cain about her organization's inspirational work in Michigan and how it is expanding to Africa and other places.
Vaughn also talked about her recent trip to Dubai where she was invited to give a speech along with other leaders on working together to make things better.
