ALLEN PARK (CBS DETROIT) - When the Detroit Lions hosted the Minnesota Vikings for the final home game of the regular season Sunday, fans at Ford Field chanted "Don't go, Suh!" and C.J. Mosley joined in, throwing his arms out and jokingly imploring his teammate, "Don't go, baby! Don't go!"

Mosley laughed when he recalled the moment.

"We kid around every day, so that's nothing, although when I said it, he didn't laugh or anything," Mosley said. "He's not thinking about that. Even though it was a time of the game when we were loose and having fun, like I said, he's a guy that's always on the job, so at that point in time he's not thinking about that."

Suh would not talk about Mosley's gesture or the crowd's pleas, but he did crack a smile and deliver a one-liner about his response to his fellow defensive tackle.

"I told C.J. to be quiet," Suh said with a laugh.

Speculation that Sunday's game might have been Suh's last home game as a Lion increased to a fever pitch when billionaire Warren Buffett showed up in a Suh jersey on the sideline before the game with about a dozen other people in No. 90 apparel. Suh would not say whether Buffett's presence had anything to do with whether this season is his last in Detroit.

"That's your opinion, and I have nothing to really say about it," Suh said.

Mosley hinted that he has expressed to Suh that he would like for him to stick around but said ultimately players are not the ones responsible for convincing Suh to stay.

"That's not our job," Mosley said. "His agent's going to take care of that, so we'll leave that at that. Of course I've had my words with him, man, but you know."

Mosley spoke at length about Suh and endorsed him wholeheartedly.

"That's my guy, man," Mosley said. "Suh makes the game a lot easier and a lot funner to play. Great person as far as what he means to Detroit, the organization and the city. In my time in this league, I've never seen a defensive tackle so dominant just every game, week in, week out, somebody that competes as hard as him. He's relatively quiet, but when he wants to be heard, man, you're going to hear him. It's just an honor to be next to him and fight with the guy.

"He's irreplaceable," Mosley added. "There's only a few guys that can really dominate the game like that."

Fans at Ford Field always yell, "Suuuuuuuuuuuh!" whenever Suh makes a play, and Suh flexes his biceps in reply. Mosley recalled the fans behind the bench Sunday - the ones telling Suh to stay - were very loud.

"It showed their passion ... and their love for Suh," Mosley said. "He's something, he's a person that will be remembered forever in the city of Detroit, and at that stadium, all the games he just dominated."

Suh said he has not considered what he has meant to the team and, on a larger scale, to the city over the course of his career.

"I haven't thought about it," Suh said. "I probably won't think about it. I'm going to get ready for Chicago."

The Lions tried to work out a long-term extension with Suh before the 2014 season, but it never happened, in part thanks to a change in Suh's representation that took a considerable amount of time. Detroit announced before the season it would table talks with Suh and new agent Jimmy Sexton so negotiations would not be a distraction.
