Michigan State's Narduzzi Reportedly Heading To Pitt

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Michigan State University's defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi will be leaving East Lansing to become Pitt's head football coach.
Sports Illustrated reported Tuesday that according to a source, a deal for Narduzzi to coach Pitt has not yet been finalized, but is expected to be announced after Christmas.
Narduzzi, who won the Broyles Award in 2013 as the country's top assistant coach, has had Top 10 defenses the past four seasons, according to CBS Sports.
He reportedly was a candidate for a number of head coaching positions across the country including Colorado State.
Narduzzi will take over the Pitt job from Paul Chryst, who left the school to coach at Wisconsin.
Pitt will be playing Houston Jan. 2 in Armed Forces Bowl, and Michigan State will play the Baylor Bears Jan. 1 in the Cotton Bowl.
Neither Pitt, nor Michigan State, have statements about Narduzzi on the football websites.
