Man Dies In Fatal Allen Park Shooting

ALLEN PARK (WWJ) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Kolb Ave. early Saturday morning in Allen Park.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired on the 8000 block of Kohl Ave around 2:30 a.m. Sergeant Eron Feltz told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the victim was found badly wounded on the scene.

"Officers arrived an found a black male had suffered several gunshot wounds," Feltz said. "The victim was later transported to Oakwood Hospital where he later passed away."

The man's identity has not been released, but Feltz said that he is in his late 30s.
