2 More Men To Face Trial In Waterford Township Man's Slaying

WATERFORD TWP. (WWJ/AP) - Two men have been ordered to stand trial in the slaying of a 22-year-old Waterford Township man during a robbery.

Twenty-year-old Terrance Bunting Jr. and 22-year-old Donald Michael-John Davis were bound over Friday to circuit court in the shooting death of Jacob Hershberger. Both are charged with murder and armed robbery.

Another man, 25-year-old Blake Marcum, already faces trial.

Authorities say Hershberger awoke Nov. 8 to find the men in his apartment. Police say Marcum pulled the trigger as Hershberger wrestled with Bunting over a gun.

Davis is accused of helping Bunting climb a balcony to get into the apartment.

Davis' lawyer Jack Holmes said his client was never in the apartment. Bunting's attorney Timothy Parker argued that his client is improperly charged in the slaying.

Bunting, Davis and Marcum three face the possibility of life in prison if convicted as charged.
