DETROIT (CBS Detroit) -Lincoln Motor Co. unveiled its new MKX Tuesday at the North American International Auto Show with a number of new features with passengers in mind.

The cross-over features 22-way adjustable front seats; heated and cooled seats; a 360- degree camera to make parking easier and the first Lincoln to offer Revel sound system. Owners who download the MyLincolnMobile app can also lock, unlock, locate their vehicle and even set times to start their car with the remote start option.

"(The MKX offers) a lot of attention to detail to those kinds of features that help our customers," said Kumar Galhotra, president of Lincoln. "Not technology just for the sake of technology, but technology to make our customers lives easier."

The introduction of the new MKX is part of the on-going growth of the brand, which is coming off its best sales year since 2008 along with a launch of Lincoln in China.

"We have a very clear plan for Lincoln. It's a journey," said Ford CEO Mark Fields. "We are really taking that momentum into 2015."

Fields also touched on the Lincoln ads with Matthew McConaughey.

"It catches everybody's attention in a very subtle way," Fields said, who added that friends of his 21-year-old son are posting the ads immediately. "(McConaughey) is a great guy. He is a big supporter of Lincoln."
