Delta Lands At Detroit Auto Show Preview Days (Video)

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - The North American International Auto Show showcases the latest models from automakers; and during the show preview, attendees were able to see the latest in seating options from Delta Air Lines.

The Delta Sky Lounge at Cobo Center welcomed frequent fliers and other guests to take a break from the media and industry preview days at the convention center with food, drink and comfortable seating.

Delta also had models of the Business Elite seating available for attendees to take for a "test drive" at the lounge.

These seats, which are available on Delta's 767 airplanes that fly the Detroit-Shanghai route, reclines into a flat-bed during the fights. And when passengers are ready to sleep, Delta has full-size pillows, lumbar pillows and Westin Heavenly bedding, according to Jing Kobelsky, Delta flight attendant.

Business Elite passengers also receive a Tumi amenity case with items including lip balm, toothbrush, shoe horn, sleep mask and ear plugs to help fliers arrive refreshed after a 13-hour flight.

Each seat also offers a directional reading light; adjustable tray for meals which include lamb and sea bass; USB charging ports and entertainment system.

In addition to offering a lounge to relax during the show, Delta had a ticketing kiosk at Cobo to assist members of the media, exhibitors and automotive industry personnel with their travel needs.
