Wanted: Man Who Pulled Gun In Road Rage Incident On U-M Campus

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Authorities at in Ann Arbor are looking for a man wanted in an alleged incident of armed road rage at University of Michigan.

According to campus police spokesperson Diane Brown, the suspect pulled a handgun on a delivery truck driver after the pair argued over whether one of them had cut off the other one.

Brown said the incident occurred Wednesday night on Observatory St. at East Medical Center near University of Michigan Hospital.

There were no injuries.

The description of the suspect is somewhat sketchy.

"The only thing that we have at this point is the man was driving a white four-door sedan," said Brown. "He is described as a black male approximately 30 to 40 years of age, with a thin to medium build."

The man had a beard and was wearing a dark-colored knit hat.

The University on Thursday issued a crime alert to students and staff concerning the incident.
